Dixit

Description: Dixit is a game of imagination and storytelling where players take turns being the storyteller. The storyteller selects a card from their hand and gives a clue (a word, phrase, or sound), and other players select cards from their hands that match the clue. Then, the cards are shuffled and revealed, and players must guess which one was the storyteller’s. Points are earned based on the guesses.

Rules: The storyteller gives a clue, then everyone else submits their cards. The group votes on which card matches the clue, and points are awarded accordingly.

History: Created by Jean-Louis Roubira in 2008, Dixit won several awards for its creativity and artistic design.
